| Your internet service provider
(ISP) is your connection between you and the information superhighway
(the Internet). An example of an ISP is CompuServe. There
are many providers on the market. You have your choice of providers,
however, be aware that your courses are designed to work with Microsoft
Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator/Communicator. Thus, the
ISP that you select must support Explorer or Netscape. The KU
Medical Center offers its own ISP to enrolled students; it is often
referred to as "remote access."
This will be available as an option after you enroll in classes.
