Welcome to The University of Kansas Medical Center! We would like to walk you through our 4-Step Orientation Process. Our goal is to make your first experience with KUMC as enjoyable and simple as possible. We invite you to join us for a continental breakfast, an opportunity to meet other new employees, a presentation from our Benefits Staff regarding your health insurance and retirement options, and a warm welcome from the Executive Vice Chancellor's Office. You will be scheduled to join us on the first Monday of your employment from 8:30am-11:15am.
You can access Online Orientation via the "Welcome" button below. This will take you through important information about your employment experience with KUMC. Upon completion of this Orientation, you will be asked to provide information about yourself for your Human Resources Employment History. You must complete Online HR Orientation within your first 30 days of employment with KUMC.
These policies apply to all employees of The University of Kansas Medical Center. Once you have your username and password, you will need to go to the following website to comply with our KUMC Policies. Once you login select the Training Tab. Locate the Chalk column on the right hand side of your screen and select "KUMC New Employee Orientation." You must complete Online KUMC Policies within your first 30 days of employment with KUMC.
Safety Orientation will take place on the Tuesday following your Meet & Greet Program, from 8:00-9:00 am in Lied Auditorium located on the Ground Floor of the Biomedical Research Building on 39th St. For questions related to Safety, please contact Kevin Dirks at 913-588-1081.
