Veterans Preference:
The State of Kansas recognizes the enormous contributions of men and women
who have served their country in uniform. As a veteran of the Armed Services,

Pay plan information for Classified Staff: Beginning in FY09, the
State of Kansas is beginning a multi-year plan to improve classified
salaries. Although not all classified titles are scheduled for additional
salary hikes in FY09, approximately 2/3 of
KUMC classified staff will
receive a supplemental "market adjustment" in addition to the 2.5% general
increase. In most cases the supplemental "market adjustment" will be
approximately 5%. More information about the statewide pay plan is available by
