reports available to its community and to prospective employees. These
reports provide important information, including several items for which
federal law requires disclosure.
"The Medical Center Campus Security Report"
is published annually. You may request a paper copy by contacting the
University of Kansas Police Department, 3901 Rainbow Blvd., Kansas City,
Kansas 66160-7145.
Background Investigations
Before extending a job offer, we conduct a criminal background investigation on the individual we want to hire. Although we do not conduct credit investigations, conducting criminal investigations is covered under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
