Glossaries Useful for Educating and Engaging Consumers on HIT and HIE Privacy and Security Matters
Representatives from the State of Kansas and Georgia worked in collaboration on this project. The goal of this project was:
to develop a glossary of key HIT and HIE privacy and security terms. We realized that educating on privacy and security needed to be done in the context of HIT and HIE, therefore, the glossary includes sections on general HIT and HIT terms and definitions as well.This glossary was intended to serve as a reference document, that consolidated terms and definitions from a variety of sources.
The terms developed through the ONC HIT project were included. For final ONC HIT definition project report click here
