Pediatrics

Children's Mercy Hospital (CMH) is a free standing facility dedicated exclusively to pediatric care, education, and research. Nationally renowned, it was recently ranked as the 8th best pediatric care hospital. CMH provides care to 9,000 inpatients and 260,000 outpatients annually. KUMC Pediatrics - Located on the KUMC Campus, the Department of Pediatrics manages 2,100 inpatient visits and 35,000 outpatient visits yearly. The department is comprised of 60 pediatricians providing a complement of general services and subspecialty care. Family Practice Residents rotate at KUMC Pediatrics during their first and second years.
