The Family Medicine Residency at the University of Kansas

For the 2009-2010 academic year, we will be accepting 9 total residents for three different sites.

	Seven residents will match for positions at the KUMC campus with hospital privileges at The University of Kansas Hospital and clinic duties at the KU Family Medicine clinic in urban Kansas City.
	An applicant will match for the eighth position with clinic duties at KU MedWest, our suburban Family Medicine facility in Lenexa, KS. This resident will join her or his counterparts on the wards at The University of Kansas Hospital when on inpatient rotations.
	Last, an applicant will match for the ninth position in Junction City, KS. The intern year is spent in Kansas City at the main hospital and clinic. The second and third years, however, are spent in Junction City, KS working in the local hospital and clinics there. Junction City is approximately two and a half hours away from Kansas City, and this position requires the resident to move to Junction City for the last two years of residency.
