Holiday Hours:

• To allow our Faculty and staff time to enjoy the holidays with their families, we will be closed on:
  •December 25th and December 26th for Christmas
  •January 1st for New Years Day
  •January 19th in observance of Martin Luther King Day

New Charges for Forms and Missed Appointments:

Effective January 1, 2009, there will be a $25.00 service charge for medical forms such as workman's compensation that are left for your provider to fill out. We regret having to charge for this service and encourage our patients to make a specific appointment for that purpose with your provider so we will not have to charge the fee. Thank you for your cooperation.

Additionally, due to raising costs and limited appointment availability, the Department of Family Medicine has begun charging $25.00 to patients who fail to keep their appointments and do not call to cancel. We ask that all patients please call at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule or cancel appoinments. Lori Hallier Recognized for Outstanding Customer Service

Lorie Hallier, RN, Team Manager for the Yellow and Green Clinic Teams was recently recognized by the Kansas University Physicians, Incorporated (KUPI) Human Resources Department for her outstanding customer service. Lorie is an invaluable member of the clinic team - Congratulations Lorie!

Holidays are Special in Family Medicine

Family Medicine faculty and staff celebrated the recent holidays of Halloween and Thanksgiving with decorations in the department and pot luck luncheons.
