Dr. Milligan was in private practice in Olathe, Kansas before joining the faculty at KUMC. He is chair of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee and a member of the antibiotic subcommittee, the palliative care team of the medical center, and has research interests in physician prescribing behavior and outpatient drug use.
