Diane Ebbert, ARNP, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor and Clinic Medical Director
Diane Ebbert is a certified family nurse practitioner with joint appointments as a clinical assistant professor in the Schools of Medicine and Nursing. Diane is a member of the core faculty for the student clinic in the 3rd year clerkship in Family Medicine. In addition, she preceptors Family Nurse Practitioner students and teaches in their clinical courses. Diane's clinical interests include diabetes and women's health. She earned her PhD majoring in Nursing with a minor in Health Policy. Her dissertation is a study of the chronically uninsured in Kansas. Other research interests include vulnerable populations, access to care and competency in health care profession students. Diane is committed to community outreach and volunteers many hours for several community organizations in activities such as screening physicals and health education.
