Biography
Hazel Anderson, March 23, 1897-November 12, 1974, served as Law Librarian for the University of Kansas for 31 years. She received her BA from KU in 1930 and her law degree from KU in 1945.
She was a past state president of Business and Professional Women, whom she also served as state librarian for as well as the national legal adviser for 20 years.
Ms. Anderson was a member of the American Association of Law Librarians, the American Association of University Professors, the American Association of University Women, the Kansas Library Association, and the National Association of Women Lawyers. As a student, she was also involved in the Sigma Kappa social sorority and Phi Delta Delta, an honorary sorority for women in law.
