Data Integration
Data Integration (DI) was created to provide a unit with skills in
data warehouse/data mart development and management, data quality
techniques, metadata management, and other analytical and reporting capabilities in order to develop a decision support environment that provides data integration across the Medical Center and customized web-enabled information delivery
(e.g. executive dashboards) in administrative, educational, and
research areas.
The primary goals of DI are: to plan, develop and manage a data warehouse environment that supports the
University's information needs; promote a culture of shared access to
information to support the University's strategic goals; and address information
access and management problems not addressed by KUMC's core administrative
systems.
