Overview of web publishing at KUMC. How to get started, guidelines, tutorials, getting a web server account.
Need a quick answer on how to use features in GroupWise 7, changes in Office 2007, or an introduction to SPSS? Choose from thousands of short how-to movie clips on basic and advanced techniques for Word, Excel, Access and many more applications used daily at KUMC.
To access Atomic Learning, login to myKUMC, go to the Training tab, and click the Atomic Learning link. (Note: the Training tab may not show for a week or two for new employees.) This training tool is also available when you are at home or on the road through the KUMC website.
E-Learning courses provide self guided learning experiences with highly interactive features, including simulations, hands-on practice, assessments,audio and multimedia. The courses cover the Microsoft Server, Office applications (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word) and Windows System products. These are designed for maximum skills-transfer in minimal time and are available online both on and off campus.
To access E-Learning send IRTraining@kumc.edu an email requesting the password for KUMC staff. Once you have the password you can work on any of the courses you want over time by login at http://business.microsoftelearning.com .
EndNote is a bibliographic management software program which allows the user to create a “library” to manage and store citations and to export the citations from the library into a word processor to produce a bibliography or manuscript in a variety of publication styles (e.g., APA, Chicago, or journal specific).
