All e-mail items from addresses and Internet domains that are junked through Junk Mail Handling are placed in the Junk Mail folder. This folder will not be displayed in the folder list unless a Junk Mail option is enabled. To enable the Junk Mail folder click Tools > Junk Mail Handling and check the desired options.
It is wise to use caution when setting the Junk Mail Handling options. It would be a good idea to check for Mail that goes to the Junk List prior to deleting it. Be especially careful about Blocking mail, especially when blocking domains (yahoo.com etc.), because mail that you block will never be delivered. For example if you block the user buybuybuy@aol.com, mail from that user should never get through; but if you Block the aol.com domain you will never receive any mail from anybody with an aol.com e-mail address.
Any e-mail address in the Novell GroupWise Address Book cannot be sent to the Junk List or Blocked (including Broadcast). It is possible, however, to Block out any e-mail that is not found in any of your address books.
While Junk Mail options are enabled, this folder cannot be deleted. However, the folder can be renamed or moved to a different location in the folder list. If all Junk Mail options are disabled, the folder can be deleted. To delete items from the Junk Mail Folder, right-click the folder > click Empty Junk Mail Folder > Yes.
Item views have tabs where you can make selections and specify additional information about that item.
In items you are composing, the Send Options tab lets you select the send options that apply to that item. For example, the Mail item view includes options for Priority, Delayed Delivery, Security, Status Tracking, and so forth.
In items you have received and sent, the Properties tab shows who received the item, the size and creation date of attached files, and more. The Personalize tab gives you the options of adding a personal subject and assigning a category to the item.
