Data and Safety Monitoring Resources

Revised SOPs for the KUMC Data and Safety Monitoring Executive Committee (DSM-EC) can be found at http://www2.kumc.edu/researchcompliance/doc/DSMB_SOPS.pdf .
These are helpful for an investigator designing a research protocol that may require an independent DSMB.

Also available is a template for developing a Data and Safety Monitoring Plan.  Although primarily designed for use for the DSM-EC, it can be used as a step by step process to design plans for various levels of monitoring, not just a plan requiring a DSMB.  Click here for more information.
