Research Seminar Series on Aging, Health, and Dementia

Research Seminar Series and Visiting Professor

The Landon Center on Aging has joined forces with the KU Alzheimer and Memory Program and the Central Plains Geriatric Education Center to create a new research seminar series:  “Seminar Series on Aging, Health, and Dementia”.  Like before, the series will present a wide range of topics relevant to aging, including topics specifically relevant to dementia.

When?  The Seminar Series on Aging, Health, and Dementia will meet on the 2nd and last Tuesdays of the month, 4 – 5 pm.  Refreshments will be provided.

Where?  Seminars on the 2nd Tuesdays will meet on the main KUMC campus in SON 1050; seminars on the last Tuesdays will meet in Room 200 of the Landon Center on Aging.  Attendees can park in front of the Landon Center on Aging for those meetings.

Through the support of the Central Plains Geriatric Center and the Kansas Area Health Education Centers, all presentations also will be made available via ITV or web-based Elluminate to sites around the state.  This outreach is part of the mandate to provide continuing education to researchers, educators, and health-care providers outside of the metropolitan area.
