The Stroke Research Interest Group (SRIG) is made up of researchers at the University of Kansas with the mutual goal of increasing our knowledge of motor, cognitive, and functional recovery from stroke, and how recovery may be facilitated by medical and rehabilitation interventions. Our mission is to:
- facilitate cutting edge, interdisciplinary, and collaborative research,
- connect stroke survivors with ongoing clinical trials; and
- educate the public about stroke-related issues.
Our research projects are funded by both federal and private entities, and are approved by the University of Kansas.
