The older adults who participate in the research projects of the Grayhawk Laboratory are community members from both Kansas and Missouri who volunteer their time to our efforts. Many of our volunteers are alumni of the University of Kansas and of the University of Kansas Medical Center. We have also recruited older adults through local health fairs and by word of mouth. To date, we have recruited over 700 Grayhawk volunteers and expect that number to grow as the lab continues to grow and develop.
If you or someone you is interested in being a research participant, find out more abut the Grayhawk Research Volunteer Program click here or contact Joan McDowd at 913-588-0646.
