Sally Rigler is an Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of General and Geriatric Medicine since 1996. After undergraduate studies at Knox College, she received her medical Degree with Honors in 1989 from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria. She came to the University of Kansas in Kansas City, Kansas for her internship, residency, and chief residency in Internal Medicine. She subsequently completed fellowship training in Geriatric Medicine and a Master's degree in Public Health. Her research interests are in the area of geriatric depression and psychotropic prescribing patterns in long-term care.
