Dr. Quaney is a trained physical therapist.  She received her Ph.D. in Exercise Science from the University of Iowa.  She completed post-doctoral training in cortical plasticity and human performance at the Landon Center on Aging, Kansas University Medical Center.  Dr. Quaney joined the Research Faculty at the Landon Center on Aging in 2004 where she studies neurological injuries using neuroimaging and motor control techniques.
