| Alma, age 90 at the time of this photograph, was born at Damar, KS, July 7, 1907 (7-7-7).She is the eldest daughter of 16 children. Her father was German and her mother, French-Canadian. She spoke French as a child and learned to speak English at the age of 21. She had 5 children and now lives with her daughter, Naomi Chestnut in Chanute. I think she is a perennial beauty in the garden of life. |
