Detailed research expenditures from previous years are available.

The research expenditures reported in this table are the same as those reported to the National Science Foundation (NSF). In the NSF reports, all expenditures on joint project are assigned to either the University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC) or the Lawrence Campus, with the result that the reported expenditures for KUMC are lower than the total KUMC research expenditures, which include expenditures on joint projects.
