The Office of Planning and Analysis provides analytical support for planning and decision-making in the University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC) and acts as the source for official data about the KUMC.
The Office of Planning and Analysis
- Provides analytical support for planning and decision-making by administrators and others in the Medical Center.
- Prepares the official institutional responses to external surveys or questionnaires from the federal government (mandated - IPEDS, NSF), the state (mandated - Board of Regents, Legislature), accrediting bodies (mandated - North Central Association), publications that provide guidebooks and rankings (College Board, GRE, Peterson's Guide, U.S. News & World Report, KC Business Journal, etc.), and other external agencies.
- Acts as a source for official data about KUMC.
- Conducts assessment and evaluation research for KUMC departments and schools.
- Provides research support to Academic Affairs.
