KUMC Graduation Checklist for Graduate Students
This is a helpful resource for the student's final semester.

Do-All Checklist
Departments submit the do-all 2 weeks prior to a master's student defending their thesis or taking the final general examination. For doctoral students who are defending a dissertation, the do-all is submitted by the department 3 weeks prior to the defense date. The checklist includes the information that should appear on the do-all form.

Survey of Earned Doctorates
All doctoral students must complete this survey and submit to Graduate Studies the semester they graduate. This survey is conducted by a consortium of several federal agencies in order to track the productivity and quality of graduate and professional training in the United States. Detailed information about this survey may be found on the NORC at the University of Chicago website.

The Graduate Studies Calendar indicates deadlines related to oral comprehensive and final examinations and submission of theses and dissertations for graduation.

ETD Release Form
All students submitting a thesis or dissertation are requested to complete this release form so an electronic version of their thesis or dissertation can be included in KU ScholarWorks. Submit the completed form to Graduate Studies along with the original signed Title and Acceptance Pages.
